Scrub Assistant Resource- Main OR- FT-1st Shift

Overview

The Resource Person identifies needs of the Service. Promotes collaborative practice with Physicians, Coordinators, and Business Manager. Accountable/ Responsible to maintain supply inventory and adjust as necessary. The Scrub Assistant Resource also performs “Key Responsibilities” specific to the Scrub Assistant Job Description.

Qualifications

Education required: High School Diploma or GED required, Successful completion of a Scrub Tech program.

License: BLS certification required (must be completed within the Provisionary Period)

Experience: Minimum of 2 years previous Scrub Assistant experience.

Additional skills: Communicate effectively, Time management skills, Self-motivated to stay abreast of new procedure and equipment within the service.
