Since 1995, PRI Plus has specialized in high-performance materials for the label printing industry. Our custom coating and slitting capabilities allow us to deliver quality, application-specific solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with machinery, takes pride in producing quality products, and works well in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate coating and slitting equipment according to production orders and material specifications.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent product quality and performance.
• Load and unload rolls of raw materials.
• Adjust machine settings, including temperature, speed, tension, and pressure.
• Inspect finished materials for quality, uniformity, and defects.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor equipment repairs.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and material usage.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production progress and equipment issues.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational problems to minimize downtime.
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with coating or slitting equipment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, technical instructions, and safety procedures.
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during an 8-hour shift.
• Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn.
