Established in 1993, YRGMERF is a leading non-governmental organisation in India dedicated to improving health outcomes through integrated healthcare, inclusive partnerships, and research-driven interventions. Guided by the principles of integrity and sustainability, the organisation addresses both immediate and emerging public health challenges, with a strong focus on prevention, care, support, and treatment—particularly in the area of HIV and other infectious diseases.

YRG MERF runs the Sabrang Clinic,an integrated care centre for sexual minorities. To take the work of the clinicfurther, we are looking for a young and energetic person who is willing to joinour effort to build sustained awareness and strong linkages with keystakeholders.

• Plan and carry out regular fieldoutreach to build sustained awareness about the Sabrang Clinic and the servicesit offers.
  
• Build and maintain workinglinkages with key stakeholders — community groups, community-basedorganisations, government departments, health facilities and other partners.
  
• Set up and follow up referralpathways, so that people reached through outreach actually access clinicservices.
  
• Organise awareness activities, communitymeetings and small events in and around Hyderabad.
  
• Maintain day-to-day records ofoutreach visits, contacts made and referrals completed, and submit reports ontime.
  
• Travel across the city and nearbyareas at short notice, as the work demands.
  
• Coordinate closely with the clinicteam and the Programme Lead on daily plans and follow-up actions.
  
• Represent YRG MERF and the SabrangClinic with courtesy, and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  
• Take up any other task assigned bythe Programme Lead in line with the objectives of the programme.
  

Requirements

• Willingness to expend energies onfield outreach and to work in a mobile, on-the-move role.
  
• Own a two-wheeler, with a validdriving licence, for swift movement across the city.
  
• Fluency in English and Telugu atthe minimum. Knowledge of Hindi or other languages will be an added advantage.
  
• Working knowledge of MS Office(Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and e-mail.
  
• Capability for independentcommunication with stakeholders — in person, over the phone and in writing.
  
• A sensitive and non-judgementalapproach while working with sexual minority communities, and the ability tokeep information confidential.
