Scientific Marketing & Sales Associate

Hummingbird Scientific is seeking a Scientific Marketing & Sales Associate who is highly organized, an effective communicator, and excited to work with technical and scientific content. In this role, you will work closely with our sales and marketing team to create engaging marketing content and social media posts, support sales and marketing activities, and help coordinate trade shows and other events. The role requires someone who can understand scientific information, communicate it clearly to different audiences, and has a strong eye for detail and presentation for both written and visual content.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team. Requirements

Key Qualifications:

• Excellent writing skills with the ability to understand and clearly communicate scientific/technical information
  
• Keen eye for graphics, formatting, visual presentation, and attention to detail
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities
  
• Ability to prioritize effectively, take initiative, and see projects through to completion 
  
• Keen understanding of being customer focused
  

Education and Experience:

• Masters or PhD in Science or Engineering
  
• At least one peer reviewed publication
  

Optional Qualifications:

• Event organization and management experience
  
• Vendor management experience is a plus
  

Excellent references from previous direct supervisors are a must.
