Key Responsibilities
· AutomationFramework Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable, reusable test automation frameworks fromscratch for web, mobile, and API layers using Java.
· FrontendAutomation: Develop and execute high-coverage UI test automation scripts using SeleniumWebDriver and Playwright across multiple web applications,platforms, and browser engines.
· Backend& API Automation: Create automated test suites using RestAssured and Postman to validateRESTful APIs, microservices, business logic, payload structures, and responseperformance.
· MobileTest Automation: Implement automated test suites for iOS and Android native and hybridapplications using Appium.
· CI/CDIntegration: Integrate automated frontend, backend, and mobile test suites into CI/CDpipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable rapid feedback and dailyexecution.
· TestStrategy & Design: Author comprehensive, maintainable test plans, test cases, and test datastrategies covering functional, non-functional, integration, and regressionscenarios.
· DefectManagement & Analysis: Perform root-cause analysis on test failures, isolate defects acrossapplication layers, and track issues to resolution using defect managementsystems.
· AgileCollaboration: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and DevOps teamsduring sprint planning, grooming, and release cycles to ensure qualitythroughout the SDLC.
Requirements
Key Skills
· Programming: Strong OOP fundamentals and hands-on coding proficiency in Java.
· Frontend Automation: Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
· Backend Automation: Hands-on experience with API automation using Rest Assured,Knowledge of BDD/TDD frameworks, TestNG, JUnit & Cucumber.
· Mobile Automation: Proven experience in mobile test automation with Appium.
· Framework Design: Experience architecting or contributing to data-driven,keyword-driven, or hybrid automation frameworks.
· Experience & Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a relatedtechnical field, with 2–5 years of dedicated SDET / QA automation experience.
· Problem Solving: Strong analytical, debugging, and system integrationtroubleshooting skills
