Rad Techs that join the J4K team will be responsible for performing various clinical duties including radiologic examinations of pediatric patients while creating a superior patient experience. Just 4 Kids Urgent Care is open from 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. seven days per week. Part-time staff work two 12-hour shifts each week. The primary duties and responsibilities of the Rad Tech are listed as follows: Ensures superior patient experience by embracing the J4K mission and values, while treating all with compassion and respect. Prepares patients for radiologic procedure and takes X-Rays while following established protocol and procedures for patient care and safety. Ensures all radiographs are interpreted by clarifying discrepancies. Uses necessary radiation protection and shielding materials. Logs all radiologic procedures and processes related paperwork using computer equipment as directed. Maintains examination rooms. Stocks necessary medical and radiologic supplies. Performs basic medical assistant duties, which include but are not limited to: rooming patients, taking vitals and patient histories, obtaining chief complaint, completing approved point of care lab testing, and discharging patients. Ensures sterile technique with patient procedures, instrument cleaning and sterilization. Assists providers and RNs with various medical procedures. Maintains confidentiality with all patient information (HIPAA).   QualificationsThe preferred Radiologic Technologist will have the following qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older to apply. High school diploma/GED required. Radiologic Technologist Certification and registry maintenance through ARRT. Current BLS Certificate. Proficient in the English language
