Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is hiring a 3rd shift Industrial Furnace Operator. Our furnace operators will operate one or more furnaces based on work demand per information for sintering. They will load copper and silver alloy per work instructions and will be required to perform multiple tasks at the same time.

Requirements:

  • Prepare pressed parts for furnace operation per manufacturing instructions.

  • Set furnace equipment to align with specific job requirements.

  • Remove product from furnace in accordance with safety guidelines and prepare parts for next operation.

  • Review product post furnace to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Must be able to maintain records in accordance with company policy.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential job duties and responsibilities.

  • Good attention detail.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a long period of time, 90% of the time is spent standing or stooping.

  • MUST be able to work in high ambient working temperature.

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a sintering, heat treating, or industrial baking environment. – Preferred
