Onsite at University Hospital

Full- Time night shift from 11:00pm- 7:30am with rotating weekends 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for facilitating the movement and management of materials within the facility, including requisitioning, receiving, inventory handling, and transportation of items. 
  • Ensures accurate and timely receipt, staging, and documentation of inbound materials using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which includes processing stock, nonstock, and non-purchase order items, and performing advanced ERP functions as needed. 
  • Maintains a high level of accuracy and efficiency in receiving and staging materials, resolving discrepancies, and meeting daily operational priorities. 
  • May utilize point-of-use systems where applicable. 
  • Transports items to designated areas and ensures proper documentation of transactions. 
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information, including patient data. 
  • May involve operating manual or motorized material handling equipment.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • Requires 2-4 year of relevant experience.
  • Must be able to continuously lift up to 50 lbs. from the floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs. from waist to over-the-head carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Requires long periods of standing and walking (as much as 6+ hours per day) and heavy pushing and pulling.
  • May require the ability to operate manual and motorized material handling equipment.
  • May require completion of safety training within 30 days of hire.
  • May be required to work weekends or other non-standard shifts.
