Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Regional CDL Class A Driver to ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods across designated regional routes. Picking up and delivering loads to Customer locations. Driving between 450 to 650 miles a day.This is the ideal position for a Road Warrior in training, offering flexibility and regional travel. The day will start when the customer calls, we need to be ready to move. Drivers will primarily transport products to warehouses with no-touch freight, ensuring efficiency and compliance with DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles (sleeper truck).
• Adhere to assigned schedules and routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Utilize electronic devices and maintain accurate ELD logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, coworkers, and customers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
• Ensure safe and efficient loading, transport, and unloading of goods (no-touch freight).
• Uphold company standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional Class A driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and background.
• Valid Medical Card and FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse registration.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to DOT regulations.
• Experience with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle issues.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to adapt to schedule changes and unexpected delays.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Skills

• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Comfortable with overnight stays in sleeper truck if Hours of Service (HOS) prohibit additional driving.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and respond promptly when customer calls.

PPE Requirements

• Steel toe boots required.
• Safety vest and additional PPE provided by BWT.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $24–$27 per hour based on experience

• Day shift 
• 10 to 14 hours per day
