Description

Substitute Teachers at The Oaks Academy play a vital role in supporting the teachers, ensuring that students experience a consistent and engaging learning environment. Substitutes are trained and provided insight on The Oaks' teaching techniques and curriculum. This ensures that when they are called to support a classroom during the teacher’s absence, they feel comfortable and prepared.


The Oaks Academy is a Christ-centered and diverse school that offers a unique learning experience for students from all over central Indiana. Students at The Oaks thrive as they learn, grow, and engage deeply with ideas. With an average of 18 students per classroom and a classical, time-tested curriculum, Oaks Academy teachers are able to focus on facilitating holistic, authentic learning in a collaborative, professional community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and teaching experience preferred
