WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

·         Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic

·         PRN position

·         Clinic schedule: Mon-Thurs 6:45-7:15 – 10 hour days no holiday, weekends or nights

·         Professional development opportunities

·         Work with physicians, nurses and patients to resolve questions concerning medications, health education, and medical advice within skill level and scope of practice

·         Record and maintain complete and accurate records of patient and physician communications regarding medical care according to standard medical record documentation requirements

·         Submit electronically/fax new prescriptions and refill prescriptions according to Physician orders.

·         Serve as a resource to clinic staff regarding medical information, patient assessment, and nursing management of illness

·         Acquire pre-certs/prior authorizations for patient needs

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Associate's Degree -Required

·         Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

·         Valid RN license to practice in the state - Required

·         2 years Labor & Delivery (bedside) Nursing/Patient Care Required

·         Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
