Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County. Physicians provide a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services at the 333-bed hospital and outpatient facilities both on and off of the Eskenazi Health downtown campus as well as at 10 Eskenazi Health Center sites located throughout Indianapolis.

 

 

 
JOB SUMMARY:
 

The Eskenazi Health Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is caring for infants with difficulties such as respiratory distress, apnea, sepsis, pneumonia and congenital anomalies. Eskenazi Health has received the Neonatal Level of Care III certification in accordance with the Indiana State Department of Health’s Perinatal Level of Care Program.

The Inpatient Resource Pool Registered Nurse provides clinical care and coordination skills to every patient served in the unit using the Eskenazi Health model of care, Synergy. The Inpatient Resource Pool Registered Nurse coordinates with the patient, family/loved ones and other healthcare disciplines to ensure care is appropriate to patient care needs.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
-Active Indiana RN license
 
-Minimum of two years clinical nursing experience as an RN in a similar setting as desired grouping
 
-Current BLS certification
 
-Current certifications per unit guidelines required (i.e., ACLS, NRP, PALS)
