As a Family Support Worker, you'll: Help Bring Families Together: Supervise meaningful interactions between parents, children, and siblings while encouraging healthy relationships and positive family connections. Be a Helping Hand: Coordinate appointments, schedule meetings, and provide transportation assistance when needed. Connect Families to Resources: Identify community programs, services, and support systems that help families overcome challenges and build long-term stability. Be an Advocate: Support children and families involved in Family Centered Services (FCS), helping ensure their needs and concerns are recognized. Build Meaningful Connections: Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers while providing consistent support throughout their family's journey. Work Together for Success: Collaborate with Family Support Specialists, Intervention Specialists, and other professionals to provide coordinated, family-centered services. Recognize and Document Progress: Observe family and sibling interactions, maintain accurate documentation, and help identify strengths and areas where additional support may be needed.
