Company Description
About CocuSocialÂ
CocuSocial is an established culinary experience provider in the U.S. We bring people together through hands-on cooking, baking, and tasting experiences at partner venues across the Orange County.
The experience we're creatingÂ
Our classes are meant to feel like an outing as much as a lesson — guests come to try something new, in a social, low-pressure setting, at venues worth the trip. Classes are beginner-friendly; most guests have never taken a cooking class before, and that's exactly the point.
Job Description
The role
- Plan and lead a hands-on class start to finish
- Classes at interesting venues around the city — restaurants, hotels, cafés, event spaces
- Groups of up to 26 guests, most often evenings and weekends
- In-person only (venue within 30 minutes commute)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required
What you might teachÂ
Handmade pasta, French pastry, dumplings, sushi, paella — or a cuisine that's your own. We build the class list around instructors' strengths, not the other way around.
Why teach with CocuSocial
- Flexible schedule — teach as often as suits you
- $200–$350 per class, plus tips
- Marketing, bookings, and guest communication handled by CocuSocial
- Support developing and refining your class format

Who we're looking for
- Culinary experience: chef, caterer, culinary instructor, culinary school grad, or accomplished self-taught cook
- Comfortable leading a group and teaching in a clear, hands-on way
- Reliable and organized
- Evening and weekend availability
Nice to have
- Prior teaching or demonstration experience
- ServSafe or Equivalent (Required)
- Access to a venue that could host classes (home kitchen, restaurant, event space)
