A2e Technologies is seeking a Sr. FPGA Design Engineer for a long-term contract position in Redmond, with the possibility of permanent employment.
Candidates must have over 10 years of experience in FPGA/Modem Design, specifically with Ultrascale+ and Versal technologies, and proficiency in VHDL and SystemVerilog.
The role requires skills in design and simulation, high-speed Serdes, and solid scripting in languages such as Python, Perl, Bash, and Tcl.
Familiarity with communication interfaces like Ethernet, PCIe, and UART is essential, while an active government clearance and experience in software-defined radio are considered advantageous.

10+ Years experience:
FPGA/Modem Design
Ultrascale+ & Versal
VHDL & SystemVerilog
Design and Simulate
High-speed Serdes
Solid scripting (python, pearl, bash, tcl, …)

Solid Communication interfaces such as: Ethernet, Interlocken, PCIe, SPI, I2C, UART,etc

Nice to Have:

Active Government Clearance
Software Defined Radio/Modem Design background
Some Petalinux Background
Background in RF design
Encryption experience
