SUMMARY:  The Sales Tax Accountant is responsible for multi-state sales and use tax filings for several corporations. This is a fast-paced position for someone who can manage various deadlines. 

SCHEDULE: This is a full-time onsite position at our Dallas Headquarters

COMPENSATION: Commensurate based on experience.

LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane 

DETAILS:

· Prepare and file monthly and quarterly high volume, multi-state sales and use tax returns

· Process sales tax remittances

· Assist with sales tax research questions

· Follow up on any notices received from tax authorities

· Provide support for all sales tax audits

· Maintain reconciliation of sales tax accounts to general ledger

· Assist with other tax duties and projects

· Assist with implementation of new tax software

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· 1- 3 years progressive multi-state sales tax experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· Advanced Excel skills

· Experience with tax software Avalara is a plus.
