BizFirst is assisting our clientwith recruiting a skilled and experienced Signals Analyst. This positionsupports the following program: a signals intelligence (SIGINT) mission supportprogram that provides collection systems engineering, target development,analysis, reporting, and mission software development for an IntelligenceCommunity customer. The position is onsite at Fort Meade, MD, and the role isopen now for an immediate start.

Our client is a Service-DisabledVeteran-Owned Small Business that has supported U.S. defense and intelligencemissions since 2012. Its systems, software, and data science engineers workside by side with government teams to model, design, integrate, and deploycomplex mission systems, and the company also builds rugged RF hardware forspecialized SIGINT applications. Led by a U.S. Navy veteran with more than 30years of DoD mission experience, the company supports programs alongside manyof the largest national security integrators and has a long-establishedpresence in Maryland near Fort Meade.

What will you do

Develop and apply the techniquesand tools that turn signals intelligence (SIGINT) into answers for missioncustomers. You will collect, evaluate, analyze, document, locate, and presentinformation according to established requirements and priorities, and useSIGINT and collateral report repositories along with your own research toadvance target development. You will work with packet and stream protocols andother IP-based technologies, and use the software applications and databasesthat support SIGINT target development. This role suits an analyst with atleast three years of SIGINT experience in the Intelligence Community or theU.S. military who is comfortable on the Linux command line.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop techniques and tools to collect, evaluate,analyze, document, locate, and present information in line with establishedrequirements and priorities.
  • Research SIGINT and collateral report repositories, andbring independent research into target development.
  • Analyze packet and stream protocols and other advancedtechnologies over IP.
  • Use the software applications and databases thatsupport SIGINT target development.
  • Apply knowledge of data and voice communicationstechnologies and network protocols to analytic problems.
  • Write Bash, shell, or Python scripts to supportanalysis on Linux systems.

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph or above.
  • Three (3) years of experience performing as a SignalsAnalyst supporting the Intelligence Community or U.S. military. Candidates withor without a degree are considered; the experience requirement is the same.
  • Experience developing techniques and tools forcollecting, evaluating, analyzing, documenting, locating, and presentinginformation according to established requirements and priorities.
  • Familiarity with SIGINT and collateral reportrepositories, and the ability to show how you have used independent research toenhance target development.
  • Experience with packet and stream protocols and otheradvanced technologies over IP.
  • Experience using software applications and databasesassociated with SIGINT target development.
  • Proficiency with the Linux/Unix command line andscripting (Bash, shell, and/or Python).
  • Familiarity with data and voice communicationstechnologies and network protocols.
  • Ability to work onsite at Fort Meade, MD.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Apache NiFi.
  • Military SIGINT background, such as Army 35N or 35S,Navy CTR, or Air Force 1N2.
  • Formal SIGINT analytic training or qualifications.
