CDIT Solutionsis seeking a Senior Software Engineer / System Engineer to support amulti-quarter productization effort for a mission-focused product suite,enabling broader deployment and use across the DoD community. This initiativeextends through FY27 and continues to evolve in partnership with theproductization team.
At a highlevel, this work involves "genericizing" the current solution byremoving customer-specific dependencies, abstracting environment-specificconfigurations, and developing interfaces that allow authorization workflowsand key management operations to function across diverse customer environments.The effort touches all major components of the ecosystem — clients, Portal,Proxy services, and OpenBao-based key management services.
KeyResponsibilities
•  Lead changes to Encryption Libraries and Key ManagementServices, including migration of code from Low to High environments.
•  Design, implement, and test complex software acrossclients, Portal, Proxy services, and OpenBao-based key management services.
•  Establish and apply best practices throughcollaborative communication, planning documentation, system testing, and defectresolution.
•  Manage day-to-day efforts toward projectaccomplishments and contribute to planning and status communications.
•  Partner with virtual teams in a matrix environment andoperate with strong ownership across multiple parts of a project.
RequiredQualifications
•  U.S. citizenship.
•  Active Top Secret / SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
•  12+ years of professional working experience.
•  B.S. in Computer Science or related field (or 8 yearsof equivalent work experience).
•  Experience with C or C++.
•  8+ years of Java development on both Linux and Windowsplatforms.
•  Proficiency in at least one additional high-levellanguage (Python, Go, or Rust preferred; JavaScript desired).
•  5+ years of cryptographic experience with a solidunderstanding of key management.
•  Excellent written and verbal communication, with theability to build rapport with team members and clients.
PreferredQualifications
•  Prior experience as a contractor in the IntelligenceCommunity.
•  8+ years of experience with modern software developmentmanagement.
•  Working understanding of Agile methodology.
•  5+ years of experience with REST APIs.
•  2+ years of experience with cloud platforms, tools, andadministration.
•  Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
•  Strong analytical troubleshooting and performanceevaluation skills.
•  Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shiftingrequirements or deadlines.
