Jovian Concepts, LLC is looking to hire a System Engineer Level 3 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required to be considered.

Seeking a System Engineer who has experience in System Administration Automation, management and security compliance. Candidate must focus on maintaining system integrity, performance, and security for critical client/server environments, demanding strong problem-solving and communication skills. Candidate must be prepared to work with a small, mission focused team that frequently interacts with users and the customer.

Requirements

A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.

Six (6) years of systems engineering experience
A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university.

(U) A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).

(U) A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience

(U) A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.

Required:

Strong System Engineering and System Administration experience
Strong knowledge of Security Compliance
Strong knowledge of networking devices. (Cisco, Juniper, Arista)
Strong System Administration skills for Windows/Linux (RedHat/CentOS/Rocky)
Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerization
Experience with Acitve Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, Network Services
Strong knowledge of security protocols and patching
Communication and escalation of issues to management
