Systems Engineer L3

Jovian Concepts, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 3 for an exciting opportunity in the AnnapolisJunction, MD area. Requirements

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: A current and active TS/SCI clearance with a Maryland (MD) polygraph is required for consideration. CCA candidates will not be considered for this position at this time.

• Six(6) years of systems engineering experience 
  
• A Bachelor’s degreein a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (SeeNote 2)from an accredited college or university. 
  

OR 

•  (U)A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineeringexperience (any ProcessArea). 
  

OR 

•  (U)A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or arelated discipline (See Note 2) froman accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineeringexperience 
  

OR 

•  (U)A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline(See Note 2) from an accreditedcollege or university plus two (2) years of systems engineeringexperience. 
  

• Strong System Engineering and System Administration experience
  
• Strong knowledge of Security Compliance
  
• Strong knowledge of networking devices. (Cisco, Juniper, Arista)
  
• Strong System Administration skills for Windows/Linux (RedHat/CentOS/Rocky) 
  
• Familiarity with Kubernetes/containerization
  
• Experience with Acitve Directory, LDAP, Centrify, Group Policy, Network Services
  
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and patching
  
• Communication and escalation of issues to management
