Job Title: Cafeteria Support Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafeteria Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of the cafeteria, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patrons. This role involves supporting food service staff, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafeteria area
- Support inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure food safety
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cafeteria operations
- Assist with special events and catering as needed
- Trash detail and set up and breakdown of cafeteria
- Assist with services department
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong in cleanliness and hygiene within a cafeteria setting
- Previous experience in food service or cafeteria settings is a plus
