Job Details: Job Location: FLA-Jacksonville Area Command - Jacksonville, FL, Position Type: Full Time Regular, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: $15.00 - $15.00Hourly, Job Category: Food Service, Schedule/Hours:  40 hours per week weekend duty will be required This position is responsible for:   Preparing, cooking, and serving nutritional meals and snacks  Cleaning kitchen facilities, equipment, and appliances   Keeping kitchen and dining area in neat and orderly manner Key Responsibilities:  Cleans kitchen equipment, utensils and keeps supplies in orderly manner  Ensures proper amounts of food is prepared in a timely manner  Serves food and beverages in presentable manner  Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:  Work is performed in a normal kitchen environment where there may be limited physical discomforts associated with working around hot stoves/ovens or cold freezers.  Employee Benefits:  Paid Time Off  Retirement Plan  Life Insurance and more!WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU : High School diploma or equivalent, and  Three years’ experience cooking food for large groups with some experience coordinating the work of other kitchen staff, or  any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. .Licenses and Certifications:  Food Manager Certification or have within 30days of hiring  Valid State driver’s license optional   Equal Opportunity Employer: Veterans | Disabled
