Job DetailsJob Location: Spine Northside - Jax, FL 32218Position Type: Full TimeMedical Assistant — Coastal Health Spine & Pain Position: Medical Assistant (MA) Company: Coastal Health Spine & Pain Employment Type: Full-Time About the Position Coastal Health Spine & Pain is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office and is committed to providing excellent patient care and customer service. Responsibilities Welcome and room patients in a professional and compassionate manner Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, and medication information Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness and organization Assist with injections and other in-office procedures as directed Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up appointments Communicate with pharmacies, other medical offices, and patients as needed Answer phones, respond to patient questions, and assist with scheduling Maintain accurate and complete medical records Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and office policies Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Medical Assistant certification preferred Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or a specialty practice is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team Comfortable working with electronic medical records What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping patients, takes pride in their work, and can provide a welcoming experience to patients who may be dealing with chronic pain or other challenging medical conditions.
