We are looking for a Florida-licensed Civil/EnvironmentalEngineer to serve as a Project Manager, leading land developmentengineering projects and working with junior engineers and designers to deliverresidential, multifamily, commercial, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering design and permitting process forland development projects
  • Manage engineering delivery teams working on residentialsubdivision and commercial site-design projects
  • Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR), providing technicalreview of engineering plans and calculations
  • Prepare and review full engineering plans and supportingcalculations
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and developmentfor junior engineers and designers
  • Oversee project schedules, resource allocation, andtechnical milestones to support timely project completion
  • Manage client and project-related activities to ensurequality engineering designs and successful permitting
  • Coordinate with internal design teams regarding projectschedules, deliverables, and client expectations
  • Support proposal preparation and monthly project billingactivities
  • Apply land development engineering expertise to projectswhile maintaining applicable design standards, regulations, and permittingrequirements
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development ofthe engineering team

Requirements

  • Education – Must have aBachelor’s Degree
  • Civil Engineering – Atleast 10 years of land development; hands-on experience in preparing and reviewingfull engineering plans and calculations; experience with local regulations andpermitting requirements involving municipalities and state agencies
  • Licensure – Must have activeProfessional Engineering License in Florida
  • Project Management – Experiencein project management, project scheduling and client management (businessdevelopment skills, highly desired); team leadership and mentorship; staffdevelopment
  • Project Experience – LandDevelopment engineering for Single Family, Multifamily, Commercial and Industrialdevelopments
  • Modeling Tools – Proficientwith AdICPR, EPANET, or similar pressure-pipe modeling software
