Key Roles and Responsibilities
Coordinate with IT Recruiters: Communicate with IT companies, HR teams, and recruitment agencies regarding job openings, eligibility criteria, skills required, salary packages, and recruitment schedules.
Identify Suitable Candidates: Shortlist eligible students based on academic qualifications, technical skills, certifications, experience, and company requirements.
Manage Placement Drives: Organize and coordinate campus/off-campus recruitment drives, including registration, assessments, interviews, and final selection.
Coordinate Technical Assessments: Arrange coding tests, programming assessments, aptitude tests, technical quizzes, and other IT-related evaluations.
Schedule Interviews: Coordinate technical interviews, HR interviews, online assessments, and virtual recruitment rounds.
Student Communication: Share job descriptions, eligibility requirements, test details, interview schedules, deadlines, and selection updates with students.
Resume Management: Guide students in preparing IT-focused resumes and maintain updated candidate databases.
Technical Training: Coordinate training programs in areas such as programming, databases, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, web development, and software testing.
Mock Interviews: Organize technical and HR mock interviews, coding practice sessions, group discussions, and aptitude preparation.
Maintain Placement Records: Maintain records of registered candidates, applications, assessments, interviews, selections, offers, and joining status.
Industry Interaction: Build and maintain relationships with IT companies and industry professionals to increase placement opportunities.
Support Recruiters: Provide recruiters with required candidate information and assist them during campus visits and online recruitment activities.
Track Candidate Progress: Monitor candidates from registration through assessment, interview, offer, and joining.
Resolve Placement Issues: Address student and recruiter queries related to eligibility, assessments, interview schedules, documentation, and selection procedures.
Prepare Reports: Prepare regular reports on IT placement activities, number of candidates placed, companies participated, salary packages, and placement statistics.
Ensure Policy Compliance:Â Ensure students and recruiters follow institutional placement policies, eligibility requirements, and recruitment guidelines.
Post-Placement Follow-up:Â Coordinate with selected candidates and companies regarding offer letters, documentation, joining dates, and onboarding.
Key Skills Required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
