Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grinder/Finisher to join our Manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for refining and polishing components to ensure they meet precise dimensional tolerances and surface finish specifications. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the high quality of our products, directly contributing to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Operate various grinding and finishing machinery to shape, smooth, and polish metal parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Perform acid cleaning procedures to remove oxides, scale, and contaminants, ensuring surfaces are prepared for subsequent processes.
  • Conduct rigorous quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify that finished goods adhere to strict standards.
  • Adjust machine settings and select appropriate abrasive materials to achieve desired surface textures and dimensions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly serviced and safety protocols are strictly followed.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and quality control teams to resolve any discrepancies or defects in the manufacturing process.

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, specifically with grinding, finishing, and surface preparation techniques.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in acid cleaning processes and the safe handling of industrial chemicals.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
