Description:

The direct care aide will overseedaily activities with the program students. When on duty they will carry outthe daily schedule to promote the smooth functioning of the residentialprogram.

Responsibilities:

● Oversight of the home and dailyoperations within the facility.

● Assist the PD, Dean, and LeadProgram Guide in compliance with all policies and procedures.

● Provide compassionate spiritualleadership to students through prayer and direct spiritual guidance.

● Cover shifts when other direct carestaff are absent.

● Administer and oversee disciplinarymeasures and procedures that focus on fostering life transformation in eachstudent, guided by Christian principles and values.

● Facilitate compassionate andeffective communication, serving as a bridge between parents and the programwith a spirit of Christian care and understanding.

● Maintain weekly Mentor meetings andparent communication for all assigned students.

● Maintain and document student’sprogress, meetings, and communication with parents.

● Report facility maintenance needs toPD.

● Coordinate student passes and enterplans into the pass document.

● Maintain student information onSOBER PEER.

● Administer medications to students.

● Other duties as assigned asnecessary for the benefit and completion of ministry programming.

Requirements

● High School Diploma or GED, CollegeDegree Preferred

● Must be at least 21 years of age.

● Valid Driver's License

● All applicants will bebackground-checked.

● Mature and Godly character.

● TC Graduates must have been out ofTeen Challenge for at least 12 months.

● Amiable to the Assembly of Goddoctrine.

● In full agreement with the TeenChallenge Mission Statement.

● Must be a person of good characterwhose integrity is above reproach.
