Resilience Behavioral Health of New Jersey is a client-centered, trauma-informed behavioral health treatment organization providing individualized care for individuals experiencing mental health and co-occurring substance use conditions. Its continuum of care includes Residential/Inpatient treatment, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Evening IOP, and traditional Outpatient services, along with counseling and psychiatric care. Treatment is rooted in evidence-based and holistic approaches, including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed therapy, individual, group, and family therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, psychoeducation, and relapse prevention. The Opportunity

Resilience Behavioral Health of New Jersey is seeking a full-time Therapist to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based behavioral health services at its Union, New Jersey location. This on-site, daytime position offers the opportunity to support individuals experiencing mental health and co-occurring substance use conditions through individualized treatment designed to promote sustainable coping skills, wellness, and recovery.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy consistent with each client's individualized treatment needs.
  
• Apply evidence-based and trauma-informed therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based interventions, psychoeducation, and relapse prevention, as clinically appropriate.
  
• Support clients experiencing mental health and co-occurring substance use conditions within Resilience's continuum of behavioral health care.
  
• Participate in treatment planning and monitor client progress toward identified clinical goals.
  
• Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation consistent with professional and organizational standards.
  
• Collaborate with members of the treatment team to support coordinated, client-centered care.
  
• Promote a therapeutic environment grounded in client dignity, psychological safety, recovery principles, and sustainable skill development.
  

Requirements

Required

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field consistent with applicable New Jersey licensure requirements.
  
• Current New Jersey clinical or associate-level behavioral health credential appropriate to the candidate's discipline and permitted scope of practice, such as LCSW or LSW, LPC or LAC, or LMFT or LAMFT, as applicable to the position and required supervision structure.
  
• 1-2 years of experience providing behavioral health services in a clinical treatment setting.
  
• Knowledge of evidence-based and trauma-informed behavioral health treatment approaches, with the ability to support clients experiencing mental health and co-occurring substance use conditions.
  
• Strong clinical communication, documentation, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
  
• Ability to work on-site in Union, New Jersey during the organization's daytime schedule.

$65,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education
