Centrax Digital is recruiting on behalf of a client in the finance sector for a Design Lead to lead the design of a future-state Finance Data Model — a major deliverable for the client's group finance transformation programme.

You will define the future-state Chart of Accounts, reporting dimensions, hierarchies, master data standards, governance frameworks and finance data structures required to support strategic finance objectives, enterprise reporting, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and future technology enablement.

The role bridges Finance, Actuarial, Technology, Data and Business stakeholders to design scalable finance structures supporting ERP, EPM, reporting, planning, forecasting, consolidation and operating model requirements. It is a high-impact role requiring both strategic leadership and hands-on delivery.

Key focus areas: Finance Data Model and Chart of Accounts design, target operating model alignment, requirements management and design documentation, finance data governance, senior stakeholder facilitation, and transformation delivery support.

Key deliverables include the Finance Data Model Blueprint, future-state Chart of Accounts design, reporting dimension framework, finance data governance framework, current-to-future state mapping strategy, impact assessments, data migration requirements and a phased finance transformation roadmap.

Reports to: Finance Engineering Workstream Lead. Onsite, fixed term contract.



Requirements

• 20+ years' experience in Finance Transformation, Finance Architecture, Finance Systems, Financial Reporting, Financial Control or related disciplines
• 5–10 years leading Chart of Accounts redesign initiatives within large, complex organisations
• 5–10 years designing finance data models supporting multiple legal entities, business units, products and reporting obligations
• Strong experience within ERP, EPM, Finance Transformation or Enterprise Transformation programmes
• Experience aligning finance data design to Target Operating Models and process transformation initiatives
• Demonstrated experience facilitating senior stakeholder workshops and driving business decisions
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable design solutions
• Strong programme delivery experience within complex transformation environments
• Technical expertise across several of: Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Group Consolidation, Management Reporting, Finance Operating Models, Finance Data Architecture, Finance Master Data Management, Chart of Accounts Design, Data Governance, Performance Management, Planning and Forecasting, Financial Close and Record-to-Report, ERP and EPM solution design
• Advantageous: insurance, financial services, banking, wealth and asset management or other regulated industry experience
• Advantageous: Oracle EPM, OneStream, Workday, Anaplan, Hyperion, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Great Plains, Workiva, Power BI
