Financial Consolidations Consultant (Anaplan)

Seeking an experienced Anaplan Financial ConsolidationsConsultant to support the implementation of a large-scale financialconsolidation solution for a complex group environment.

The successful candidate will operate across both the functionaland technical aspects of the implementation, working directly withstakeholders to understand business requirements, translate finance andconsolidation requirements into an Anaplan solution, and take ownership of thesolution through design, build, integration and delivery.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead business requirements gathering sessionswith finance and business stakeholders.

·        Analyse, document and obtain client sign-off onfunctional and technical requirements.

·        Design and build financial consolidationsolutions within Anaplan.

·        Configure and develop Anaplan models to supportcomplex group consolidation requirements.

·        Translate financial consolidation processes andbusiness requirements into scalable Anaplan solutions.

·        Troubleshoot and resolve technical issuesthroughout the implementation and build phases.

·        Support integrations between Anaplan andsurrounding finance, ERP and other enterprise systems.

·        Work with stakeholders to understand data flows,interfaces and integration requirements.

·        Interpret and apply IFRS and GAAP requirements within the consolidation solution.

·        Support consolidation across large groups ofentities, including multi-currency environments.

·        Facilitate workshops, solution discussions,design sessions and playback sessions with customers.

·        Lead customer engagements through requirements,design, build, testing and implementation.

·        Provide functional and technical guidancethroughout the full project lifecycle.

·        Assist with testing, issue resolution, useracceptance and solution readiness.

·        Produce relevant solution and technicaldocumentation.

·        Act as a subject matter expert on Anaplan-basedfinancial consolidation.

Essential Requirements

·        Proven experience implementing FinancialConsolidation solutions using Anaplan.

·        Strong hands-on Anaplan development andsolution design experience.

·        Demonstrable experience working across both functionaland technical requirements.

·        Experience delivering consolidation solutionsfor large or complex groups of entities.

·        Strong understanding of IFRS and GAAP consolidation requirements.

·        Experience with multi-entity andmulti-currency consolidation.

·        Strong business requirements gathering anddocumentation experience.

·        Ability to independently lead client workshopsand solution discussions.

·        Experience troubleshooting technical issuesduring solution implementation.

·        Experience with Anaplan integrations andintegration with other enterprise/finance systems.

·        Strong stakeholder and client-facingcommunication skills.

·        Ability to take ownership of a solution fromrequirements through to implementation.

Advantageous

·        Previous experience working within largecorporate or multinational group environments.

·        Experience integrating Anaplan with ERP/financeplatforms.

·        Anaplan certifications.

·        Previous consulting experience.

·        Experience delivering end-to-end financialtransformation or consolidation programmes.

Qualifications

·        Degree or relevant qualification in Finance,Accounting, Financial Management or a related discipline preferred.

·        Relevant Anaplan qualifications/certificationsadvantageous.

·        Professional accounting qualification orequivalent financial consolidation experience advantageous.
