RoleOverview
An experienced Contract Manager is requiredto lead mining and underground drilling operations, with accountability forsafe project execution, operational performance, financial results, clientrelationships and workforce leadership. The role suits a hands-on operationalleader who can balance production, commercial discipline and SHEQ requirements.
KeyResponsibilities
路聽聽 Lead day-to-day delivery ofdrilling / raise-bore contracts and ensure safe, efficient and profitableexecution.
路聽聽 Manage project performanceagainst production, cost, schedule, quality and client-service targets.
路聽聽 Control budgets, resources,equipment utilisation and operational planning across assigned contracts.
路聽聽 Lead multidisciplinary teamsand maintain workforce performance, discipline and development.
路聽聽 Manage client, contractor,supplier and stakeholder relationships throughout project delivery.
路聽聽 Support contractadministration, commercial performance and resolution of operational orcontractual issues.
路聽聽 Ensure SHEQ, environmental,legal and client requirements are consistently implemented.
路聽聽 Identify performance gaps andimplement continuous-improvement initiatives to improve reliability andproductivity.
Requirements
Experience& Requirements
路聽聽 Grade 12 plus a relevantdiploma or degree in Mining, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management,Business Management or related field.
路聽聽 8-10 years of experience inmining, drilling, construction or heavy industrial operations.
路聽聽 At least 5 years in amanagement or supervisory capacity.
路聽聽 Experience managing operationalbudgets, resources, multidisciplinary teams and client relationships.
路聽聽 Strong commercial andcontract-management capability.
路聽聽 Valid driver's licence andmedical fitness for mining operations; ability to travel and work onoperational sites.
Advantageous
路聽聽 Raise-boring operational experience.
路聽聽 Project Management and/or FIDICcontract-management training.
路聽聽 Mine Manager's Certificate orrelated operational mining credential.
路聽聽 Financial Management, LabourRelations or leadership-development training.
