The Sr. Chemist is responsible for developing, improving, validating, and transferring analytical methods to support laboratory operations and product quality. This role also manages instrument qualification activities, provides technical troubleshooting, and supports laboratory investigations to ensure robust, compliant analytical performance across the organization.

FUNCTIONS
• Perform method development and method improvement
• Perform method validations, method transfers with other sites or suppliers, and periodic method reviews
• Perform compendial assessments and changes
• Perform instrument qualifications, periodic validation reviews, and various instrument lifecycle tasks
• Manage complex technical projects and make key technical decisions
• Provide troubleshooting support to the analytical chemistry lab on instrument and method issues
• Provide support for laboratory investigations and corrective actions

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Experience with method validations and instrument qualifications

Preferred:

  • Masters or PhD in Chemistry or related field
  • Experience with LabVantage LIMS or similar LIM system
  • Experience with Empower 3 or similar data acquisition system
  • 12-Months contract with possible extension
  • Adminstrative shift
