About the Role:
One Shot Automation LLC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer – Automations to join our growing team in Jonesboro, AR. In this role, you'll play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge automation solutions that make a real impact for our clients. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automated systems and control solutions for industrial and commercial applications
- Manage automation projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other automation hardware/software
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, requirements, and technical specifications
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning at client sites
- Develop technical documentation including wiring diagrams, schematics, and user manuals
- Provide ongoing technical support and identify opportunities for process improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with industrial automation, robotics, motion control, or process control systems
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on, solutions-driven mindset
- Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to travel to client sites locally and regionally as needed
