We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Shipping Lead to oversee daily shipping and order fulfillment operations within our dietary supplement manufacturing facility.
Reporting to department leadership, this position is responsible for coordinating shipping activities, directing Shipping personnel, monitoring order fulfillment workflows, and ensuring orders are processed, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily shipping and fulfillment operations to ensure orders are processed, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
- Assign tasks, establish shipping priorities, and communicate daily goals and workflow expectations.
- Monitor daily order volume, shipping schedules, workflow efficiency, and employee performance to ensure fulfillment targets are met.
- Create, organize, and process shipping batches in ShipStation, including printing packing slips, shipping labels, and related documentation.
- Coordinate and prioritize Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, wholesale, PR, affiliate, replacement, and promotional orders.
- Monitor ShipStation and e-commerce platforms to ensure order information is accurate and consistent across systems.
- Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, training, and performance feedback to Shipping personnel.
- Monitor employee productivity, packing accuracy, and workflow efficiency while reinforcing accountability and operational expectations.
- Verify orders are packed correctly, shipping labels are accurate, and packages meet company quality standards.
- Identify and resolve shipping errors, order discrepancies, fulfillment delays, and workflow challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), PPE requirements, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation, operational spreadsheets, refund records, and Return to Sender (RTS) tracking logs.
- Monitor orders requiring address verification and coordinate with customers to obtain accurate shipping information when necessary.
- Ensure proper inventory organization, FIFO rotation practices, and availability of shipping materials and supplies.
- Conduct routine shipping floor checks to monitor progress, identify operational concerns, and maintain accountability.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and evaluating Shipping personnel by providing performance observations and feedback to leadership.
- Communicate shipping results, fulfillment delays, inventory concerns, and operational issues to department leadership.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Affiliate, Wholesale, and other departments to maintain efficient operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve shipping accuracy, workflow efficiency, employee productivity, and fulfillment processes.
- Promote a safe, organized, productive, and compliant Shipping environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, e-commerce fulfillment, or a related operational environment preferred.
- Previous shipping, warehouse, or fulfillment leadership experience preferred.
- Experience using ShipStation, Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar shipping and order management platforms preferred.
- Familiarity with e-commerce order processing, shipping workflows, and fulfillment operations.
- Experience with inventory management, FIFO procedures, and shipping documentation preferred.
- Experience maintaining operational spreadsheets, shipping logs, and tracking records.
- Familiarity with SOPs, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and workplace safety requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, direct personnel, and maintain shipping efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to shipping accuracy, productivity, safety, and accountability.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and shipping management systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional warehouse, shipping, or operational training preferred.
- Experience in dietary supplement, manufacturing, food, or regulated warehouse environments preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move packages and shipping materials up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive movements.
Ability to work in a warehouse and shipping environment and wear required PPE.
Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, carts, and other shipping equipment as required.
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
