Deposit Account Representative

REPORTS TO: Operations Support Manager

FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

JOB TYPE: Full-time

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for working closely with operations support and branches performing various operations support tasks including account maintenance and cross training to cover other areas as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide quality service to customers and coworkers.
• Perform daily maintenance on CIF records and deposit accounts.
• Review daily maintenance performed.
• Backup to exception item processing (NSF/Unposted items).
• Backup to return item processing.
• Participate in available training to strengthen job knowledge.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor relating to the department and its functions.
• Serve as a representative of the bank at various community events.

• Excellent computer skills
• Detailed and service oriented with ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of office equipment such as telephone systems, printers, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Prior teller and/or deposit accounts experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, view and use a computer, and telephone with an earpiece or headset.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. at times.
