The Voloridge Ascend Program brings together a select group of early undergraduate and early-stage Ph.D. students to work closely with our researchers, engineers, and traders, gaining exposure to how we approach research, modeling, and system design in a trading environment. Through hands-on sessions and a collaborative simulation, you'll explore how ideas from mathematics, physics, computer science, and related quantitative disciplines are applied to complex, evolving systems.

Admission is highly competitive, with only 20 participants selected for each cohort. Throughout the program, participants will hear directly from and receive hands-on mentorship from some of Voloridge's most senior researchers and engineers. You'll participate in technical sessions, collaborative problem-solving activities, and a team-based competition designed to challenge your analytical thinking and technical creativity while providing a firsthand look at how our teams approach difficult research problems.

There’s no expectation of prior finance knowledge. We’re looking for students who enjoy thinking deeply, questioning assumptions, and building from first principles. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of what technical research looks like in practice, and how they might fit into it.
