Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Scrub Technician (Per Diem) to support our plastic surgery team. The ideal candidate will assist surgeons during procedures, ensure surgical instruments and supplies are sterile and ready, and provide excellent patient care before, during, and after surgeries.


Responsibilities:  

  • Prepare operating rooms with all necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
  • Assist surgeons during procedures, passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and anesthesia levels
  • Maintain strict sterilization and infection control standards
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of surgical waste
  • Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care as needed
  • Helping as needed and directed 

Qualifications:  

  • Certification as a Surgical Technician or associated healthcare qualification required
  • Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
