  • Assessment & Diagnosis

    • Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.

    • Use standardized tools and observation methods to develop individualized profiles.

  • Treatment Planning & Therapy

    • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and client needs.

    • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy for clients with conditions such as articulation issues, stuttering, aphasia, autism, cerebral palsy, and other developmental or acquired disorders.

  • Communication Support

    • Train clients in alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) methods if needed.

    • Work on enhancing communication through speech drills, language exercises, and oral motor activities.

  • Swallowing Therapy (if applicable)

    • Assess and manage dysphagia (swallowing difficulties), particularly in post-stroke, neurological, or pediatric cases.

  • Parental/Caregiver Training & Collaboration

    • Educate and involve parents, caregivers, and educators in therapy plans.

    • Provide home practice strategies and progress updates.

  • Documentation & Progress Monitoring

    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and outcomes.

    • Monitor and document client progress and revise plans accordingly.

  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration

    • Work closely with other professionals such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, special educators, and medical staff to provide holistic care.

  • Awareness & Capacity Building

    • Conduct workshops, awareness drives, or in-service training on speech and language disorders as needed.



  • Requirements

  • Strong clinical knowledge in speech, language, and communication disorders

  • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapy techniques

  • Patience, empathy, and a client-centered approach

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
