Job Description: Retail Associate
SUMMARY
Members of the Retail Team are responsible for assuring exceptional, first-class service to our Members of Kohanaiki, and their guests.Â
Retail Team Members must be positive, attentive, and learn to anticipate the needs of the members. We are seeking an outgoing, energetic individual to help manage and perform the daily functions associated with our Retail Operation.Â
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Retail Manager and Team with day-to-day operation execution of the Retail Operation
- Conduct and reconcile monthly inventory
- Interact with Members & Guests in a positive and impactful way
- Be attentive to the Members & Guests needs; have recognition with them and their habits
- Maintain the Shop Floor:Â
- Apparel should be folded tight and stacked properly
- All tags should be tucked in and not visibleÂ
- All apparel on hangers and mannequins should be steamed and neat
- The floor should be clean and free of any outdoor debris, trash, etc.
- Customer Service :Â
- Greet Members and Guests within 5 seconds of entering the shop – service with a smile
- Shop phone should always be answered before the third ring & answered professionally
- Offer your services! Point out new items, ask questions on how you can assist
- Be aware of promotions and current Members on property
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of Jonas POS and Tee Sheet
- Ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments
- Must be highly service-focused with a desire to engage with members and their guests
- Demonstrated initiative – ability to think, work, and make decisions to help improve shop sales, shop floor, and overall operation
- Be able to achieve high work standards: attention to detail, accuracy, ability to listen, and timeliness
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Works well with others
- Have the ability to lift 50 pounds
- Be able to work weekends, holidays, major events, mornings and evenings as business demands
COMPENSATION
- $24.00 per hour (tipping not allowed)
- Staff Uniform provided
- Playing Golf Privileges (with some restrictions)
