Civil Engineer - (STATCOM_Kakinada)

• Oversee and supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring strict adherence to project plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  

• Monitor work progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain the project schedule and budget.
  

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, compliance with design specifications, and adherence to safety standards.
  

• Manage and coordinate activities of contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure seamless operations and project delivery.
  

• Lead and supervise the civil engineering team, including supervisors, technicians, and other staff, ensuring optimal performance and timely completion of tasks.
  

• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily progress reports, material usage, and labor attendance to track performance and project status.
  

• Ensure the maintenance and proper documentation of the Site Field Quality Plan (SFQP) and test reports, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  

• Prepare joint measurement sheets, material reconciliation reports, and coordinate with clients for certification to ensure accurate tracking of project progress.
  

• Proactively resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline and quality
  

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
  

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in site supervision and construction management.
  

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing and modifying construction designs.
  

• Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and project tracking.
  

• Understanding of construction methodologies, site management, and quality control standards.
  

• Experience in vendor coordination and contract management.
  

• Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance in construction.
  

• Knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
  

• Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
  

• Experience in geotechnical and foundation engineering.
  

• Understanding of material testing and quality assurance procedures.
  

• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) for enhanced project planning and execution.
