Job DetailsJob Location: Rockhurst University - Kansas City, MO 64110The Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Department at Rockhurst University is expanding the Master of Science in SLP program. We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach both didactic and clinical courses as needed. The adjunct faculty work collaboratively to plan and implement a high-quality program that meets or exceeds professional accreditation and certification requirements. This position requires engagement with clinical sites, clinical educators, students, interprofessional groups, professional organizations, university administrators, and faculty.   Accountabilities include but are not limited to: Assess clinical skill development of student clinicians and provide support when needed Instruct courses/labs as needed each semester Supervise clinical practicum in community placements, if needed Collaborate with faculty and department leadership to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the program Other duties as assigned to support program operations and student success Flexibility to teach diverse course content   Position Requirements: EdD or PhD  Minimum of 8 years of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology  ASHA Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)   Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a university setting    Alignment with the mission of Jesuit education   Previous teaching experience (Preferred)    Applicants should submit a cover letter with three work/professional references. Rockhurst cannot accept any application materials (resumes, cover letters, etc.) by email, mail, or walk-in.
