Job DetailsJob Location: Kansas City, MO 64133Steppingstone – Kansas City a program of Every Child’s Hope, provides shelter and transitional living services to youth ages 16 – 21 by delivering highly individualized transitional and independent living services.  The Steppingstone program helps older teens and young adults work toward personal goals, build life skills, and learn how to care for their own mental and physical health.   The ultimate goal is to provide them with the tools needed to successfully transition into the life they want and deserve. Responsibilities include but are not limited to active involvement in program development, ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently and effectively, provide direct supervision, and support to Youth Care Specialist staff, and ensure youth service/treatment plan objectives are implemented and documented in timely manner, and coordinate and manage the YCS staff scheduling.   #INDHP QualificationsThis full-time position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and one to two years’ related experience and/or training.  Supervisory experience is preferred.  Must have a strong desire to work with adolescents, a clean driving record, and ability to pass a federal criminal background fingerprinting check, drug screen, and be at least 21 years of age.  The Youth Care Specialist Supervisor will provide supervision and leadership at the male group living facility and serve as a member of the administrative team.
