Full Time, Floor Technician

Seafields by Bishop Gadsden, a BRAND NEW, luxury senior living community, is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to ensure our spaces remain spotless, safe, and inviting.

This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and wants to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant residential setting. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all flooring and carpeting throughout the community, while also supporting resident events by setting up and breaking down spaces with care and attention to detail.

A TYPICAL DAY:

• Vacuum, spot clean, and shampoo carpets in hallways and common areas
• Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed
• Clean under furniture and maintain entranceways and mats
• Scrub bathrooms and floors in resident apartments and shared spaces
• Set up and break down for resident functions and events
• Safely operate and maintain floor care equipment
• Follow all safety protocols including proper chemical handling and signage
• Communicate professionally with residents, staff, and supervisors
• Participate in team meetings, training, and community events

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience with waxing, stripping, and buffing floors is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods
• Strong communication skills and a respectful, team-oriented attitude
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction
