1. Job Purpose
To provide mechanical engineering expertise in the design, installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services and infrastructure systems.
2. Key Responsibilities
a. Design and review mechanical systems for buildings and facilities.
b. Review HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, pumping, and related systems.
c. Review contractors' mechanical drawings and technical submissions.
d. Supervise mechanical installations and ensure quality compliance.
e. Inspect and test mechanical systems.
f. Monitor commissioning and performance testing.
g. Identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
h. Ensure compliance with applicable mechanical and safety standards.
i. Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
Requirements
3. Qualifications & Experience (Education): Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
4. Professional Certification/Registration: Relevant professional registration where applicable.
5. Relevant Experience
a. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical building services.
b. Experience in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, or related systems.
