We are hiring a Senior Staff Nurse for a leading Nursing home in Kildare Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day supervision of care and nursing staff
  • Coordinate resident activities and ensure person-centred care delivery
  • Work in compliance with HIQA regulations and standards
  • Function as Nurse in Charge when required
  • Support the training, mentoring, and development of junior colleagues
  • Provide support and guidance regarding medication-related queries
  • Liaise with and support families regarding resident care queries and concerns
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the line manage


Requirements

  • NMBI Registered Nurse
  • Excellent clinical, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making ability
  • Demonstrated interest in the care of older persons / elderly care
