We are hiring a Senior Staff Nurse for a leading Nursing home in Kildare Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day supervision of care and nursing staff
- Coordinate resident activities and ensure person-centred care delivery
- Work in compliance with HIQA regulations and standards
- Function as Nurse in Charge when required
- Support the training, mentoring, and development of junior colleagues
- Provide support and guidance regarding medication-related queries
- Liaise with and support families regarding resident care queries and concerns
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the line manage
Requirements
- NMBI Registered Nurse
- Excellent clinical, leadership, and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making ability
- Demonstrated interest in the care of older persons / elderly care
