Schedule: Full-time. Rotating shifts. Some locations operate 24/7/365, so shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift length and schedule are set by location.
About the role: Control and monitor who and what enters and leaves a secure government facility. Verify identity and clearances, inspect entries and exits, and keep accurate records.
Responsibilities:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Control personnel and equipment access at assigned posts
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Run face-to-face identity checks and verify clearances using government security systems
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Issue visitor badges and process visitor sign-in
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Inspect entries and exits and validate access forms and markings
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Keep the shift log current and brief the incoming shift at each shift change
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Inventory equipment and logs at shift change
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct roving security checks during the shift
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Make emergency notifications by procedure
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Report to post a few minutes early to support shift turnover
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Complete required security and annual training (scheduled off post, with relief coverage)
Minimum qualifications:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 U.S. citizenship
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Active TS/SCI clearance
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 At least 21 years of age (contract requirement)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High school diploma or equivalent
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 At least 2 years of experience using personnel security systems such as DISS
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or able to obtain before start)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Able to walk, stand, sit, and stoop for up to 12 hours
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Fluent in English; able to understand and apply written rules and procedures
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Eligible for a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement and, if required, submit to a counterintelligence polygraph
