Benefits: Seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.  Job Summary:  The Killington Grand Hotel Front Desk Agents create the first impression of the hotel and resort and play a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient and memorable experience. This position is responsible for handling check-ins, check-outs, guest inquiries, and coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless stay – especially during our busy ski season.   Summary of Key Responsibilities:  Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:  Greet all guests warmly upon arrival, departure, providing a high level of customer service and enthusiasm Welcome guests, check them in/out, distribute room keys, process payments and assist with inquiries regarding charges Resolve guest issues with professionalism and a service-first attitude Maintain an organized, tidy and welcoming front desk and lobby area Answer phones and respond promptly to guest requests, concerns and special needs Provide information about events, resort amenities, ski lift tickets, mountain conditions, local attractions and dining options with passion and personal knowledge Uphold all safety and security procedures Enjoy multi-tasking at a fast pace while having a sharp eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency Be happy, friendly and have an honest desire to help others Manage reservations and update guest profiles in the PMS Contribute to the overall success of our team and represent the values we strive to achieve Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, bell/valet and ski check to fulfill guest needs Assist guests with special requests such as transportation, ski check as well as ticketing for activities throughout the resort HAVE FUN! QualificationsBasic Qualifications Comfortable working in a mountain resort environment, sometimes in cold or snowy, windy conditions. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
