Job DetailsJob Location: DPI Corporate Office - Kosciusko, MS 39090Position Type: Part TimeEducation Level: NonePosition Summary The Warehouse and Maintenance Assistant supports day-to-day warehouse organization and general facility maintenance activities. The position assists with warehouse orders, stock placement, cleaning and upkeep, grounds maintenance, and assigned maintenance tasks while helping maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: · Performs other related duties as assigned. · Supports maintenance personnel with assigned tasks. · Cuts grass and performs string trimming. · Performs painting and cleaning tasks. · Collects and disposes of trash. · Sweeps warehouse and work areas. · Puts away stock in proper bin locations. · Pulls warehouse orders. · Helps maintain a clean and orderly warehouse. QualificationsRequired Qualifications To successfully perform the essential functions of this position, an individual must meet the following requirements: · Education and prior experience requirements: Needs confirmation. · Ability and willingness to learn new skills. · Ability to organize like materials. · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. · Ability to work independently. · Ability to understand spoken and written English. · Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and pallet jacks. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities The successful candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: · Ability to work independently and learn new tasks. · Ability to follow spoken and written instructions. · Ability to perform general cleaning, groundskeeping, and maintenance-support tasks. · Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and pallet jacks. · Basic warehouse organization and stock placement skills. · Detail-oriented work habits. Work Schedule Part-Time. Work Environment Work is performed in warehouse, facility, and outdoor areas and may include general cleaning, groundskeeping, and maintenance-support activities. Physical Requirements · Ability to perform warehouse, cleaning, groundskeeping, and general maintenance-support tasks. · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
