This role will serve as a key connection point between building-energy software solutions and the broader field sales organization. The position will help drive adoption of next-generation cloud technology while supporting established desktop platforms, partnering closely with sales, product management, application specialists, customer success, and sales operations.

How You Will Make An Impact
- Develop strategies that help field sales teams use building-performance software to strengthen technical selling and influence equipment specifications.
- Lead commercial onboarding and adoption efforts for a next-generation cloud-based energy-modeling platform.
- Support the transition from established desktop tools to modern cloud workflows by creating practical migration resources and value messaging.
- Build value-selling frameworks that help account managers demonstrate lifecycle economics, operational energy savings, sustainability benefits, and long-term building performance.
- Design and deliver technical training programs that enable account managers to confidently incorporate engineering software into commercial conversations.
- Serve as a senior technical advisor on complex commercial opportunities, including advanced software demonstrations and building-energy modeling discussions.
- Create technical sales materials such as application guides, competitive resources, product content, demonstration scripts, and sales plays.
- Partner with sales operations to track software-assisted opportunities and measure the relationship between software adoption and downstream commercial results.
- Work closely with product, application, and customer-success teams to translate field feedback and new product capabilities into practical enablement resources.
Requirements
Do You Have the Expertise to Lead in Technical HVAC Sales Enablement?
- Proven experience in technical sales enablement, application engineering, technical training, solution consulting, technical product marketing, or a closely related function.
- Strong technical foundation in commercial HVAC, building energy performance, building load design, energy modeling, or economic analysis.
- Experience with TRACE 3D Plus, TRACE 700, or comparable building energy modeling platforms is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of the commercial HVAC specification and basis-of-design process, including how consulting engineers, design-build contractors, and building owners influence equipment selection.
- Strong understanding of professional B2B engineering sales and consultative technical selling.
- Ability to translate complex engineering and software capabilities into clear customer and commercial value.
- Experience creating structured training programs, technical sales content, application guides, demonstrations, or enablement curricula.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to educate and influence distributed technical and commercial teams.
- Familiarity with modern cloud-hosted SaaS applications and software adoption or migration strategies.
- Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms used to track pipeline, adoption, or enablement effectiveness.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across sales, engineering, product, customer success, and operations.
