Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of patients while growing your professional skills? Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System, is seeking a Social Worker Intern to join our team for the 2027 Spring semester. This is a unique opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and be part of a team that values empathy, collaboration, and growth.

What You’ll Work

• .8 FTE – 64 hours every 2 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to assessment, planning, consulting, education, and referral process by collecting and documenting data at the direction of the Social Worker.
• Assist in formulating and carrying out the patient’s individualized plan of care.
• The Social Work Intern may reinforce patient education that has been initiated by the Social Worker.

What You’ll Need

• High school or equivalency
• Must be qualified to graduate from a baccalaureate or masters Social Work Program between December and May following this internship.
